From Promise to Progress

In this bargaining cycle, every proposal we bring forward will challenge the elements of our school system that operate as average. Prince George’s County is exceptional. Our brilliance and innovation come from our diversity. And yet, we have real challenges: vacancies, inefficiencies, and inequities. It’s time to move beyond promises and make real progress.

May 6, 2025 – Bargaining Update

Bargaining Status: Proposals and Responses

We need your attention and support now more than ever. Despite our persistent efforts and lengthy discussions with PGCPS on Tuesday, many of our proposals were outright rejected. This lack of progress is unacceptable, and we must act swiftly to secure the contract we deserve.

PGCPS will continue reviewing their counterproposals at our next session on Tuesday, May 13, and we will continue pushing for the contract we deserve.

Join your colleagues to help us pressure the district by attending our Teacher Un-Appreciation Rally tonight (May 8) at 6PM outside of Sasscer. RSVP for the rally, sign our letter campaign, and help us spread the word in person and on social media (FacebookInstagramTwitter (X))!
