Important Update on Bargaining Session
During our last negotiation session, we received counterproposals from PGCPS regarding Cost-of-Living Adjustments (COLA). Their proposal includes increases of 2.5%, 3.5%, and 2% over the next three years, totaling an 8% increase. While this is a step forward, it represents the bare minimum, and we believe our educators, students, and community deserve more.
Our educators work tirelessly to provide quality education and support to our students. They deserve compensation that reflects their dedication and the rising cost of living. An 8% increase over three years does not adequately address these needs.
We urge you to join us in advocating for better compensation. Together, we can ensure that our educators receive the recognition and support they deserve, which will benefit our students and community.
Join us in our “Spring Into Action” campaign to push for fair and meaningful increases. Your participation is crucial in making a difference.
Thank you for your continued support and dedication.
Sincerely, Your Bargaining Team
