Celebrate our Scholars
The Prince George’s County Educators’ Association Foundation and the Minority Affairs Committee are awarding scholarships to PGCPS’ Fy23-24 graduating high school seniors 16 May from 6-8pm at the PGCEA Center.
The PGCEA Foundation Scholarship
This year’s awards for winners will be $1,000 each. PGCPS is honored with some of the best and brightest students in this country. The PGCEA Foundation will continue to leave a legacy to support our youth as they reach higher to enhance their future careers.
Every year since 1974, PGCEA and now the recently PGCEA Foundation, have provided as many $1,000 scholarships as the Fund allowed. For the past forty-six years, these awards have been made to PGCPS’ graduating seniors who are pursuing higher education after graduation.
Donate to support or Scholars
These scholarships have been made possible through the generous donations of businesses, educators, community leaders, friends, and parents. Donors not only help prepare the students for the next phase of their lives, but donors help to make their future dreams a reality with their generous financial support, which is tax deductible. Without their generosity and support, none of this would be possible.
According to our NATIONAL CENTER FOR EDUCATIONAL STATISTICS, a bachelor’s degree or a trade school degree account for significant additional income per year as compared to a high school diploma. College and trade school graduates will earn a million more.
We invite you to join us in leaving a legacy of helping our senior youth. Donations can be sent to:
