Prince Georges County Educators Association (PGCEA) is a part of the nation’s largest union committed to advancing the cause of public education. We are a local affiliate of the Maryland State Educators Association (MSEA) which is one of the state affiliates of the National Educators Association (NEA).
MSEA is the 75,000-member Maryland affiliate of the National Education Association. Our members are teachers, education support professionals, administrators, certificated specialists, higher education faculty, and student and retired members whose mission is to create great public schools for every child in Maryland. MSEA works to empower members to make a positive difference in their professional lives in order to elevate the quality of public education for all students.
NEA has affiliate organizations in every state and in more than 14,000 communities across the United States. They bring the expertise, drive, and dedication of 3 million educators and allies to advancing justice and excellence in public education.
